We did run the CVTNAMSMTP command when we set this system up several years ago. This is a non-reversible command that adds SMTP names to the system distribution directory so they can be maintained using the WRKDIRE command. Once this command has been run, the WRKNAMSMTP command no longer can be used. I suspect that the SMTP names will not appear in the DSPDIRE output file unless the convertsion has been made.

I do a daily job to rebuild our telephone/email lists from the directory entries using the DSPDIRE command and it does indeed include the smtp name.

DSPDIRE OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) OUTFILE(QTEMP/DSPDIRE) DETAIL(*FULL) OUTFILFMT(*TYPE2)

I played with DSPDIRE to an outfile but never could get it to display the SMTP address. And I tried all three types.
