× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

This is a matter of opinion.

If you feel that in a disaster situation, IBM might not be there to allow
you to re-load the save files, then keep them.  I'll bank on IBM.

Morning all.

The Systems Manager and I are in dis-agreement on whether or not a save
file
used to download & install PTF's needs to remain on the system once the
PTF's have been applied.

I say the save files are NOT needed - the systems manager says that the
save
files ARE needed. Can someone please give me the definitive answer.
