5722xw1 is the licensing base of iSeries Access for Windows (client
access). You need to apply the license key for this licensed program.

Subject: LICPGM 5722XW1 iSeries Access Base ?

Hi Folks,

We are at V5R2 on an 810 that went live 9/2003.

I just got the following message on QSYSOPR:

Usage limit exceeded - operator action required.

Message ID . . . . . . : CPF9E17 Severity . . . . . . . : 30

Message type . . . . . : Information

Date sent . . . . . . : 12/11/03 Time sent . . . . . . :
08:14:51

Message . . . . : Usage limit exceeded - operator action required.

Cause . . . . . : The usage limit for product 5722XW1, license term
V5,

feature 5050 has been exceeded. License user *JOB for job

307163/QUSER/QZSCSRVS was added with 1 uses. The system operator has
been

  notified.

Recovery . . . : Use the Work with License Information (WRKLICINF)
command

and select option 2 (Change) to increase the usage limit. The usage
limit

should be increased only if it will match the limit authorized by the

software provider. If the software provider authorized limit has been

exceeded, the software provider must be notified immediately to update
the

authorized limit and start the appropriate order and billing processes.

I see that this is iSeries Access Base but am not real sure that it is
(?).
Searching IBM leads me to believe that it has something to do with web
stuff. Is this some of the trial software that came with our new box ?

Thanks !

Chuck
