Make sure you enter in the password in capitals. It shouldn't matter
unless someone change a system value that affects the default way that
passwords are handled.

Does your login look somewhat like:

User . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Password . . . . . . . . . . . .
Program/procedure . . . . . . . .
Menu . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Current library . . . . . . . . .

Then that should work.

If not then you might be on a special SST login. Let us know. If you are
on the SST login try QSECOFR with a password of all ones or all two's.

New install question

I'm coming from the HP 3000 community and have a very basic question, so
go easy on me:-) I purchased a refurbished 170 from IBM and I'm just
getting around to booting it up. I'm stuck on the initial login:-( I use
QSECOFR (User id and password, as suggested) and it states that the
profile exists, but it's an invalid password. Is there another default
password I can try? I also tried QSYSOPR, but no profile exist. Any other
suggestions?
