Thanks guys!  Forgot all about the hotspots.

FWIW, you can make a hotspot out of a MAILTO: string and pop up your email
client with email address and subject.  i.e.,
   MAILTO:jsmith@xxxxxxxxx?subject=Go%20away

Unfortunately, it seems limited to two screen lines worth of "command"
string.  Outlook users (and maybe others) can use the @body= thingy to
fill some of the message body.
