Greetings Jim, If you're looking for something for logo design then you probably want software where you can manipulate vectors / paths rather than working with pixelated images. The primary reason is that when you design with vectors you can change the size of the logo from postage stamp to billboard and the image quality stays the absolute same. We use Adobe Illustrator, but there are other good tools out there (Macromedia Freehand comes to mind). If your logo combines graphical and photographic elements (like ours) then you might need a photo editor like PaintShop Pro or Adobe Photoshop (I recommend the latter...just my personal preference) in addition to something like Illustrator. Email me offlist if you have any other questions. Quadrant's graphic designer sites five feet away from me. What I can't tell you, he certainly can. All the best, John ---- Quadrant Software http://www.quadrantsoftware.com <snip> Subject: logo graphics design tool Looking for recommendations for logo and graphics design tool. MS Paint & Word are not even close. jim
