I've always tried to save them to a save file, ftp the save file over, and restore from that. Now, were you creating the file, or doing a REPLACE? I am pretty sure that a create would have a whole new authority scheme. I am not sure how the REPLACE would work. (Want to make sure that IBM doesn't do a delete under the covers.) If you plan on doing the save/restore then I suggest you prompt RSTOBJ, position to Allow object differences, press F1, and study the bejeebers out of *ALL and the effect of authorization lists.
