Rather than send a request for acknowledgment after every record, you could
send it every 15 records or so. Code your PC program so that it sends an
acknowledgment whenever it receives X'FF'. Then you can adjust it as needed
on the AS/400.

        Well,  I have tried everything I can think of and what you guys
suggested
        and still losing the connection before all data is received by the
PC
