Steve - for the benefit of others

Could you burn the service pack on a CD? Sneaker-net works well.

OTOH, I use the actual Personal Communications product (version 5, I think) for my console on a 150 with V3R7 - works fine with the direct connect cable IBM provides for Ops Console (or whatever it was called then).

thanks Tony.

The problem turns out to be that the ops console software shipped on the
v5r1 cae cd does not work. it fails on both w95 and w2k. I was able to
download the cae service pack on my w2k pc and the "install DUN" went away.
( problem is, I cant download the service pack onto the pc I need to use as
the ops console )

anyway, I am giving up on ops console and buying a 2720 twinax card from
someone who looks like he has good prices on as400 peripherals - Jon Duke,
aka ebay tennisball30. jduke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
