Jeff,

We have a Savin 9945DPE that is attached via ethernet to a few of our
iSeries, and our PC network. I know that, in addition to Infoprint
Server, we also have CreatePrint. But I don't know if they've used either
on this particular printer.

I have a quote from Xerox to replace our aging analog copier (a 5820)
with a new Xerox Document Centre 425.

Has anyone successfully attached one of these to an iSeries via ethernet
as a local printer? Xerox support has instructions for a remote outq,
but I'm curious as to the possibilities as a local printer.

We also use FormsPrint for forms generation. Anyone using one of these
with FormsPrint? FormsPrint says as long as it can do PJL5 (which it
can), it 'should' work. (Famous last words <g>)

Thanks.
