Writing to IFS

I am using the code examples in the Sorcerers Guide to create and write records 
to a STMF in the IFS via RPG. In my program I am working thru a DB2 file and if 
the record meets certain criteria, I call the subroutine to write to the IFS. I 
have 5 records to be written, but only the last one is in the file. Obviously I 
am overwriting. The code example looped thru an array to write the records, is 
this what I have to do ?
