(I missed the replies to my message and just now found them.) I finally got around my issue by binding the SMTP server to 127.0.0.1 only so that it does not listen on ethernet. Can't be done in Ops Nav, but there was something in InfoCenter (I think) that told me how to do it with ADDSMTPLE commands. No mention of how to alter the list once created....
