Product libraries can be specified in the create command (CRTCMD) command,
to add a necessary library to your library list. They can be added up to
two deep.

For example, you enter the command WRKMBRPDM. amd QPDA is added to the
product library portion of your list. Then you start editing an RPG
program, and QRPG is added.

When you exit SEU, QRPG is taken away, and when you exit PDM, QPDA is taken
away.

hey all,

can anyone give me the idea behind the PRD library list entries?
for instance:

is this something that could/should be messed with?

what commands are used to change this? (chglibl doesn't change it, but the
QLICHGLL API does).

who or what changes this? IBM? other third party vendors?

any other ramifications of messing with these libraries?

The only thing I've noticed for sure is that STRPDM changes one of them to
QPDA.

thanks,

Rick
