Do you have any experience with how it would communicate with the sensors?
I'm guessing (this will be a learning experience for me) that they will be
TCP/IP addressable, but I have no clue beyond that. I assumed (oh, well)
that we'd need some kind of specialized software to communicate with them
and make their information available to the rest of the system.

There may also be time considerations -- if there's a solution already out
there that we can get up and running that much sooner, that might look
like a good option. We're very much of a do-it-ourselves shop, but there's
only so much we can do, and there are times when management is wiling to
spend money to get things faster.

Thanks!
