Hi Kirk,

I can only speak for our one development machine running V3R2. IBM charged
us for our PSF license on that machine.

OS/400 V3R2 will allow an application to create a spool file device type of
*AFPDS even without PSF/400 installed on the system. This spool file device
type can then be converted by Host Print Transform and sent to HP PCL
compatible printers via either twinax connection or remote output queue. It
does support the use of Overlays at V3R2.

I don't know whether this concept could be helpful to your customer or not.
