Placing the cursor on the title for that parm and pressing F1 gets...

"The name of this interface as defined in your local host
table or as known to a remote Domain Name Server (DNS).
The field is blank if no name could be found."

On my system it's the first name assigned in my Host Table (CFGTCP #10)
for the IP on the ethernet line.

        Subject: Interface host name

Hi all

On the iSeries, under Netstat option 1 (Interface status), taking option
5 to display our main Ethernet connection, there is no 'Interface host
name'

Does anyone know where to add this name? It is correctly setup under
CFGTCP - 12 Change TCP/IP domain information.

Apparently, this is required for the WDSC Distributed Debugger.

Any help appreciated.

Regards
