Couldn't the FAQ be used to catalog API prototypes and code snippets?
There's a little in there like that already....

I'd be interested in hosting such an archive of source if something
better doesn't already exist. I know there is a site for the toolkit,
but I've never seen anything simple enough to quickly find the snippet
or API wrapper I need.
