Not on V4R5:

LAPTOP         Lightweight 1.5GHz Laptop
MON-17-LCD     17" LCD Flatpanel Monitor

...ends up as...

"LAPTOP         ","Lightweight 1.5GHz Laptop     "
"MON-17-LCD     ","17" LCD Flatpanel Monitor     "

The double quote in record two is not escaped (doubled).
