Boy, and I thought it was a stupid question - and then to get a reply from you of all people... Our disk usage is not really an issue. This is part of an annual exercise of cleaning disk. We are using 58% of 120gb. I realize I won't gain much disk, but I just like to clean up as much clutter as possible. However, as Kirk and Steve pointed out, these products may be necessary sometime. I thought they were just leftovers from S36. I am going to just leave them. Thanks for all the replies. -----Original Message----- From: Al Barsa [mailto:barsa@barsaconsulting.com] Sent: Thursday, January 16, 2003 9:17 AM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: Delete libraries? Do NOT delete system libraries. If you do so, you will be running the MAKEAMESS command. If you don't want them, do GO LICPGM, and: Delete 5769SS1 option 5 for the # libraries. Delete 5769SS1 option 9 for previous compiler support. QSYS... The amount of disk space that you regain will NOT be worth your effort.
