STRASPBAL

Or, "How NOT to win friends and influence people".

We got them to cough up some money to LPAR this system, and to increase
interactive by $150,000.

After shifting around our gross of disk drives my boss decides to run
STRASPBAL.  It buries 10 out of 12 processors, (2.25 were to other
partitions).  Numerous calls that performance is abysmal.

Words of wisdom:  You might want to be careful when you do that.

Just last week we ran STRASPBAL *ENDACL, and then *MOVDTA with little
impact on performance.  But *CAPACITY after a major disk shift can be
hazardous to your performance.
