Ok I found out how to do this. Searching on IBM's web site revealed a document called: "R510 Setting Up Point-to-Point Protocol ECS internal Modem". Document 23750200. This gave me the step by step instructions. BUT I still did not have the universal connection wizard. Searching IBM's web site for iSeries +"Universal Connection Wizard" revealed a document for workarounds and Fixes for common. Since it was not shown, I basically had to re-scan: right click on connection and select proprieties. Select the re-scan option, close ops nav and re-open. Too #$% simple. But then I had an error and had to load a PTF on the AS400 which was listed on the same FAQ document. SI04969 is the latest fix and SI02765 is defective and may have to be removed. I did not have either. Well all is well and it seems to be working great now. Thank you for all your help, especially Kirk Goins. Christopher K.
