Take a look at this Don.      A friend of mine "Rick Starr"  showed me his
AS/400 green screen app running on a PC, Unix, Linux, and an iSeries.
It got tough remembering which system I was looking at by  just looking at
the screen.

how much longer until we see a CL and RPG compiler then?

Other folks have subsets of CL and RPG (DDS, etc) running on a PC network
and doing so very effeciently...and WITHOUT TIERED PRICING...oh and
without the interactive tax as well...:)
