I believe GA is August 30. It would probably be prudent to wait for the first Cume after GA when "production bugs" get worked out. I would suggest going to V5R2 directly instead of V5R1 if you can wait a month or so. If you need the functions that are in V5R1 now, would rather not wait for this date, and don't mind working the additional downtime (which would be avoided by skipping the release) then upgrade to V5R1 first.
