This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Folks, Just installed a new 2805 card into an iSeries. Found out that some ptf's are required for it. You can search for them here: http://www-912.ibm.com/supporthome.nsf/document/10000035 I would recommend searching this site prior to the installation of any hardware. Luckily this card was installed 'concurrently', meaning that we did not have to power the machine down to do it. Would have been a bummer to have my ignorance to have caused additional downtime. I searched the above site for 2805 and found this for V5R1: http://www-912.ibm.com/n_dir/nas4apar.NSF/5f8e526242913b1a86256a880049555b/54ffee4ce0547da786256b0300421a08?OpenDocument&Highlight=2,2805 This next piece is something we are getting excited about: http://www-912.ibm.com/n_dir/nas4apar.NSF/5f8e526242913b1a86256a880049555b/d31372dc94a198a086256be5003c8a84?OpenDocument&Highlight=2,II13342 Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
