We scrounged up a printer. Now we have the following problem:
We have an output queue defined with

Text description . . . . . . . . . . . : Pent Products - Lori Fretz

It prints host print screens fine. When we try to print a particular file
we get
TCP371B-Transform exit program will not process file.
The spool file attributes include:
Printer device type . . . . . . . . . : *IPDS
The only unique DDS is: COLOR(RED)

The transform exit program probably refers to:
User data transform . . . . . . . . . : TSPRWPR
  Library . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : QGPL
in the remote output queue description.
So we tried
CHGOUTQ OUTQ(P13A19) TRANSFORM(*YES) USRDTATFM(*NONE)
and, again the print key worked but not the ipds color. This time we not
only did we get the TCP371B, but we also got TCP371A and TCP3600 - all for
the same spool file. This time the spool file printed, but only as
hieroglyphics.

Any hope?

I have a coworker who wants to print some simple color text printing from
our iSeries. Nothing fancy - no graphics or anything. A bill of
material, this line to be red, that line turquoise, etc...

We're looking at very low volume.
No twinax. Prefer ethernet. Marknet devices are ok, we have plenty of
these.
Programming will be RPGLE.
What do you recommend?
