Anne- Will there be a MauveStreak program for those of us on soon to be obsolete larger 7xx servers? Any upgrade option I see actually requires an expensive INCREASE in interactive CPW. So much for incentive to move to new technology. It's a shame too, because 7xx's were killer machines. They should be able to run our businesses for years. We just can't put any new disk technology on it, or fibre controllers for our tape drives, or gigabit ethernet. And who knows how much of our SPD stuff will be desupported in V5R3... If a customer (hypothetically speaking) bought a 740 12-way fully loaded with "interactive feature" as a hedge against growth, is there an upgrade path that takes us to new technology without paying boatloads of cash for much, much more CPW and interactive CPW? If not, can anyone recommend a large tar pit for our SPD technology and Interactive Feature cards? -Jim James P. You are right on target, Andy! Jim and Chuck .. I too got a great laugh out of "hailstorm" and "mold" ..... ************ Have a great day! and .... Enthusiasm is like a ripple in the water...
