-- We replaced the failed drive, and started the restore storage over again. It completed again, and then we did a manual IPL and all of the drives are working. But it did not restart pairity. Luckily this is not a production box, We get to do that one on Sunday. We are hoping to work all of the bugs out before doing that one. Chris >>> dbale@samsa.com 07/31/02 02:09PM >>> The implication is that you replaced the bad drive and the IPL did not report a failed drive that time? So, now, the system has no "failed" drives? If so, seems like you need to call IBM on this and get them cracking. Jeez, I wonder if this will fall between the hardware service and software service cracks? Software service: "It's a hardware problem." Hardware service: "It's a software problem."
