        The error message indicates that the server is finding blanks where

        expects to find a command.  It strikes me that the only reasonable
place
        for a blank command is as a third parameter on your first line.

        I assume that your command file looks like this:
        yorka mypw
        cd \\ftpsvr\data
        put upload Daily_Claims.txt
        quit

        What would happen if you tried:
        yorka mypw cd \\ftpsvr\data
        put upload Daily_Claims.txt
        quit
