You've already received many good responses.  We follow many of the
responses.

We use Pentasafe.  One gent referred to his product.  If he would like me

Please let me know.

We do not use job accounting on our system.  Instead we use the job
accounting field in the user profile for location number, and employee
number.  Sample format is:
Accounting code  . . . . . . . . . . . . . :   01.073 - 12345
That says that I work for company 01-Group Dekko Services, department
073-Systems, and my employee number is 12345, (changed for this email).
Now, we have some reports that tie in payroll with this field and handle
terminations from there.

For new users we have a security request form.  And to make it easy on
them we have a 'clone user' field.  Thus we usually copy one user profile
into another.
