Have you determined whether the problem is on the SNADS side or the SMTP side 
yet?

There's nothing exactly 'wrong' with using SNDDST to result in SMTP e-mail -- 
it simply adds a couple additional layers of complexity. But you have to 
determine which layer you're in when a problem hits.

Maybe the best starting point is DSPDSTLOG to see what the system says happened 
to the distribution.

In addition, I'd suggest sending actual SMTP e-mail separate from that coming 
through the SNADS gateway. Use a PC client to send something and see if it 
works. Maybe there are problems on both sides of the gateway.
