I HAVE looked at the archive of this list but STILL don't seem to understand 
the story.

Without meaning to instigate a barrage of emails (with or without trailers) 
could someone let me know what the reason behind it is?

Stanley Cup affords us!  You see, we are long suffering fans of the Detroit
Tigers, and longer-yet suffering fans of the Detroit Lions and, so, perhaps
you now understand.  Thank goodness the Detroit Pistons are starting to show
life again.  <g>

As shown below, I have shortened my new regular sig, but I am keeping the
<*NOT* "Dale"> blurb, since it really has solved that problem.  How does
this look?  (Mine's shorter than yours now, Adam!)

I just find the irony of people complaining about not deleting trailers have
8+ line sigs attached to their emails.
