Unfortunately, I was not involved in esatblishing the UPS connection to my clients 400. I know the system value QUPSDLYTIM is set to 200 (seconds). It APPEARS that a power failure occurred during a storm yesterday morning and that the 400 went down ABNORMALLY. But if a UPS device is attached to the 400, and the system value above is specified, shouldn't the system have gone down in a soft, controlled manner? Is there anyway to determine if the UPS actually kicked in? I see no messages in the operator queue (designated UPSMSGQ) that mention UPS. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks again.
