Have you done APIs in CL? There are no includes for CL that give you the field layout of the receiver variable, so you need to convert the stuff in the documentation into CL variables. Or you could take the include in H/QSYSINC(QUSRSPLA) and massage it into CL statements. I usually have a variable as long as the info I need, then lots of %SST operations in CHGVARs.
