Chris....... Thanks a ton. The problem was with the mac addresses. SORRY, i just now checked other two as/400 servers apart from the 170 we have. The servers are S10 & RISC400. The 150,S10 & RISC400 carries the same mac address of 420000000000. Now i have powerddown the S10 & RISC400 servers and ahoy....I see the ping in the pc to the 150 server flow in full shape. Now tell me how to deal with this duplicate mac addresses. Cables, Ethernet configuration... The suggestions of turning off the auto negotiation and forcing half duplex may work. -----Original Message----- From: KarthikeyanS@lincsoftware.soft.net [mailto:KarthikeyanS@lincsoftware.soft.net] Sent: Friday, April 19, 2002 7:42 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: Urgent - AS400 Connectivity Problem Chris, I checked all the MAC addresses. But they are different. Also, i don't have two different routes. In fact i don't have a route in my 150.
