Hi,
I've been fighting with a Watchguard firebox for about 3 months now, with no
luck. I've tried using their MUVPN client and with zero technical support
(and zero is being very generous with them), I just have not been able to
make it work.

I did finally get regular old Windows VPN to connect to the firebox,
yesterday.

But I had to change the "Data Encryption" option to "Optional Encryption
(connect even if no encryption)". Does this damage the security of the VPN
tunnel, or is this referring to an extra layer of encryption "within" the
tunnel? In other words, is this still a "secure" connection?

If any of you are looking for a Watchguard reference, go ahead and contact
me...I've got a reference for them!

Thanks...
