Hi Everyone,

I haven't really been following this thread so my apologies if either this
answer has already been given, or if this is not the exact problem.

We had an issue similar to this where CA sessions (and later, as we
discovered, any telnet session), would time time out when program messages
were sent to the screen (eg, "loading applicatiion..." type messages). The
problem only occurred when dialed in remotely. Users directly on the LAN
did not have the problem.

This turned out be a Windows issue, specifically Windows 2000 SP 2. Here's
the fix from MS :
