These sites all have some excellent advice BUT they are really only guidelines
not hard and fast rules.
I often experience difficulties obtaining enough appropriate help/resources due
to the isolation of my location.
Prior to the the midrange.com upgrade, I would often receive responses to
questions hours before the question itself appeared.
If the entire original request was not included in the response I received I was
totally confused. Requests were frequently made by others to remove content but
that created an issue for me and possibly others. Thankfully that is no longer
an issue but is an example of why guidelines need to be flexible.
I agree sometimes questions from people can be better researched or phrased (me
included) but I also believe that the most stupid question is the one that isn't
asked.
What may appear as worthless banter to some will quite often raise relevent
problems and solutions.
Just my Aud 0.02 worth.
