Well said.  I agree fully with the sentiments expressed in the referenced
URL -- especially this bit

People like that are time sinks ? they take without giving back, they
waste time we could have spent on another question more interesting and
another person more worthy of an answer. We call people like this

but then I would, wouldn't I?  I like STFW too, and "Volume is not
precision" and the fact that I just might be brain-damaged.

It might be a good idea to include a link to this page in the FAQ, on the
Midrange.com web site, in the welcome e-mail that new subscribers
receive, and possibly in the list trailer (but no-one reads that :).
