I doubt if WRKDBF could (or would) corrupt the data as has happened in this 
case. I'd be very disappointed in WRKDBF if it did (although somewhat 
impressed).

In order to delete these records with DFU, I suspect it would be necessary to 
access them via an arrival sequence access path and select them by relative 
record number or via a different keyed access path.
