DFU trys to bring up the entire record, as it would normally do. It then tells me it found invalid data. I try F23, and get the message I described. DFU won't do the job. -----Original Message----- From: MBarton@pink.co.uk [mailto:MBarton@pink.co.uk] Sent: Thursday, September 27, 2001 10:34 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: recs with invalid data >>I beleive you can delete the record usind a dfu. >>Simply enter the key field to (identify the particular record) >>and press enter >F23 will not work. I did try this out before posting by corrupting my data using WRKDBF so I know it works.. >When I hit F23, I get >the message >"Record to be deleted is not specified" >since the invalid data stops the record from being displayed. You must enter the key of the record to be deleted. Simply hitting F23 on its own will give the message you describe.
