IBM is still doing some analysis of why SAVSECDTA takes 2 hours on GDISYS
when it takes a maximum of 11 minutes on any of our other machines. IBM
does have some questions though. They ran a command called PRTPRFINT for
print profile internals. Seems there is this user called DEVELOP which
consumes an amazing amount of Private Authorities. I've figured out that
this user profile is related to Turnover. IBM feels that there is no way
that this user profile would have been saved on a pre V5R1 machine. It
would have bombed out because of the size of it's Private Authorities. In
V5R1 they've fixed it to save an ?infinite? amount of private authorities.
However, if you take advantage of this feature your SAVSECDTA will take
longer instead of skipping that user profile. While IBM is still doing
further analysis of this they would like us to ask Turnover some questions.

Do they have other users reporting issues with SAVSECDTA such as it taking
a long time, or skipping users? If a user doesn't do a SAVSECDTA
separately, it will be done with the SAVSYS command. This too, takes an
inordinate amount of time on GDISYS. Will you please find out and get back
to me.
