     presumably the 'other job' is allocating the file exclusivly (sp ?) ?
If so the best way is to do an ALCOBJ on the file *SHRRD with a wait time
of 5 or 10 seconds and then do a MONMSG CPF1002.

I believe the 60 seconds wait time may be coming from the subsystem class
where the job is running  (?)
