They told me there was nothing wrong with any of the settings (I had default settings) or with OS/400 TELNET. They told me the problem was with the hub or router because it was not sending a response to the as/400. My experience was the session wouldn't drop until atleast 15 minutes of inactivity. The 400 polls the device periodically to see if it's still there. The hub or router wasn't doing that so the 400 could go down and I'd still have my screen displaying - until I pressed a key, of course. That's all I recall.
