Don't use LXI if you are using Arch paging. LXI has problems with them and
refuses to fix their code, blames it on the paging company all the time.
If I could get the boss to sign the check we'd dump that turkey in a
heartbeat and purchase something else.

Dave,

You might also check out LXIpage from LXI Corporation. Their website is

Subject: Paging software

I am looking at different software packages to be installed on our AS400
Model 720 V5R1, that will notify different people when there is a problem
on our system. Various types of problems would be program abort, web site
not functioning, backups having a problem, etc.

I have just started looking at Byteware MessengerPlus, Help systems Robot
Alert and console and ASC OpCenter monitor.

Are there any others available that I should look at?

What are your opinions of the systems mentioned above?

TIA
