Yes, Communications Utilities (-CM1) is required for RJE, but as far as I know, RJE on the 400 is limited in functionality to being a client to a mainframe host. I don't know how a Series/1 and an AS/400 would work together using RJE, doesn't sound right. FYI, CM1 is _not_ an inexpensive option. Andy Nolen-Parkhouse > R.
