Dan, >Well, silly question, but is PCAnywhere dialup-only, or does it support >access via a network? It not only suports access via a network, but it is *very* nice across a intranet and works good across the internet also. It needs a couple of ports open. In versions 8.x and 9.x, you could override these via registry settings. In version 10.x, these are changable via the application GUI. There are a number of security related configuration options. Symantec has pages in their knowledge base discussing them. DOS sessions are not a problem for pcA either. I've used pcA to access sites since 1990 when it was still just a DOS product from DMA (or whatever the name was before Symantec bought it). The first Windows versions were SLOW, but they've got it working very well now. Doug
