Time estimates! Our hot backup site model 820 2-way took < 4 hours Our live site model 820 2-way took ~20 hours! (ops estimated 6hrs) Hiper's! each box we took to v5r1 immediately started running up the disk used at a prodigious rate, till they hit 98% and we IPL'ed. Happened after one of the beta drops, when we GA'd our 720 development box and when we upgraded each 820. Quite messy in each of our cases. While we are planning some down time are there any Gothcas we need to be on the look out for? What are the benefits of moving to V5? I know they made some enhancements to RPG IV, but is there really anything else? _______________________________________________ MIDRANGE-L mailing list MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l
