Title: SAN Versus Internal Storage on iSeries

Hi all,

My name is Anna Brown, and I'm an editorial research assistant with NEWS/400 and the AS400 Network. I'm working on a story about SAN versus internal storage on the iSeries, and I'd appreciate getting some user feedback on the subject.

Has anyone on the list implemented a SAN storage solution for the iSeries?

Do you feel that SAN storage is advantageous to iSeries users, or do you already have all the storage functionality you need with the iSeries' internal storage capabilities?

If you'd like to chat about this topic, please contact me off-list at abrown@as400network.com or 800-621-1544 x 4989.

Thanks!
Anna
