Why not journal the file(s) on the AS/400 and read the journal changes and
apply them to the SQLServer box? Journaling would pick up changes too.

How would YOU replicate data from tables in a DB2/400 database to table in a
SQL Server 7.0 database?

And how would you do it so that, say, it updates every 10 minutes? And it
does NOT completely replace the tables on every refresh. That is, it
replicates only new or changed or deleted records (can you replicate deleted
records? <grin>).

You ideas are solicited.
