let's get back to Rob's points (not his of course, but the company that was
giving
him a hard time):

   * the platform/language environment currently persists only because of a
large
     body of existing legacy code.
   * the role of RPG programmers is widely being reduced to that of system
     maintenance

It seems to me that it is hard to argue against these if we can't find some
NEW
customers doing NEW development in RPG.
